I produced a 15 video series for Barter Theatre’s 2012 summer run of the Broadway hit “Avenue Q.” These videos were shown during the show, projected on a screen in the middle of the set. These videos served as visual aid, subtext and scene transitions. This is the introductory cartoon that welcomed the audience into the production. The overall look and feel was meant to mimic low tech, old educational cartoons like School House Rock and Sesame Street.
The scope of the project included: cartoons made in Illustrator & Photoshop, animation in After Effects, cuts of live footage from Premiere, & selective color keying using Keylight.
CREDITS: This video series was made under the Direction of Katy Brown, with The Musical Direction of Steve Sensenig, the sound engineering of Miles Polaski and features the Puppeteering of Nick Koesters.
